Travel and Leisure

Travel is the activity of changing the location of a person on a trip from one place to another place. The process of traveling can be performed for a business reason, commuting to work, visit someone, recreation or a variety of other reasons. You can use public or private modes of mechanical vehicle transport, riding an animal or a method of human powered mode such as walking.

Tourism is a very popular form of travel. It is for recreational and also leisure purposes. Tourism on a global basis has become a very popular leisure activity. A tourist is someone that travels and stays in a place outside their normal home environment for a period of time. Many different countries rely on tourism in their economies due to the influx of money for goods and services they provide to the tourists.

Leisure is primarily a free period of time spent away from work and the activities of normal domestic life. It can also be the discretionary or recreational time either before or after the the required activities of work, school, sleeping, household chores and all the other necessary actions. The definition of leisure and work or any other required activity depends on how you visualize the activity in your own mind.
