Online Football

For wired sports fans, things have never been better, with the number of resources available all over the internet. I can tell you, I threw the old pigskin around quite a bit in my day, and the only thing that is more fun than the online football games that they have out nowadays is the real thing, and that is a fact. My favorite online football games, if I only have a few minutes, are actually the flash games, as cheesy and unrealistic as these can be.

There is one in particular that I like, where you get to be the quarter back, and you have to throw the ball through as many targets as you possibly can in two minutes before time runs out. Sure, it is only a basic target game, but the online football setting makes it really appeal to me in a way that, say, a shoot em up never would.

Of course, there is more to football online than just flash games, although the flash games are great. There is a chance to order real football games online, or to play fantasy football over the internet. Although the best fantasy football is when you work in an office where all of your friends will get in it with you, if you do not have a workplace where people are into it, online football can be quite a viable alternative.

I can not tell you what a joy this online football fantasy has been to me, and the best part is that I have been able to use it to make friends all over the globe. These are deep and lasting friendships, and ones that I would not have been able to make if not for online football games.

Of course, there are other online football resources to use, and more conventional and informative ones at that. All of the sports statistics you can possibly want, along with biographies and news releases are available on the internet, and that is not all. If you happen to miss the game, you can get scores and play by play breakdowns and analysis of what happened, and what the best prospects of each team are, all from online football sports programs and blogs. Although we would all rather just get the chance to watch the game, when this is not an option, online football is usually the next best thing, I'm sure you will agree.
