Gaming
The term "gaming" has a very loose definition. The most obvious is that gaming
generally thought to relate to a game. In turn, a game can be a structured activity
that means a person participates in a specific set of actions.
There are a countless number of games in existence that fall into the category of
gaming. It can relate to board games, sports games, computer games, console games,
and the list goes on and on.
Some specific activities that can be seen as game participation include:
- Tabletop: This includes all games that are typically played on a flat surface
like a tabletop or the floor.
- Role-Playing: This includes all games where the players are required to take
on some type of fictional role in the participation.
- Video: This includes all games that are played in an electronic environment
and uses a video interface to interact with the participants.
- Gambling: This includes all casino related activities where money is usually
involved such as in Las Vegas, Atlantic City or any number of locations
around the world.
