Business
In general, a business is an organized entity that is designed to provide
a product and/or service to customers or consumers. In order for a business
to be successful there must be a market for the product or service being
offered to the consumer. The consumer is the essential ingredient in the
business environment.
Typically a business is formed either as a private or
public entity to create a profit and generate wealth for the pleasure of the
business owners. The business owners form their business to generate
a favorable financial return as a result of their work performed to produce
the product or service and accepting the risk associated with operating the
business.
