Entertainment Industry Jobs Career

Students or job seekers interested in pursuing a career in media or entertainment, either in front of the camera or behind the scenes, may be surprised at all the opportunities available. Most of these jobs are located on the coasts, in either New York City, or the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. Some internships offer hourly compensation depending on the duties defined in the agreement, which is more similar to regular employment but is for a pre-determined period of time. At the end of the internship the student will be evaluated and possibly offered a full time position.

There are also entertainment industry jobs for anyone that wants to be an extra in a film production. Extras are always needed for all types of movies, and a specific look is not always required. Producers are interested in all types of people, and even though most of these entertainment industry jobs do not have speaking parts, they give people that don’t necessarily have any type acting ability a chance to participate.
